Selling second-hand: with a complete history
Buyers of used e-bikes and electric cars mainly ask two things: was the vehicle looked after, and how good is the battery? If you can show both with proof, selling is easier.
Records buyers want to see
- Proof of purchase, so it's clear the vehicle is rightfully yours
- Frame number or VIN
- Services and repairs with date and mileage
- Battery details: age, charge cycles, health, any replacement
Protecting personal data
Invoices contain your name and address. So don't just send all receipts to an interested buyer. Better: an overview without personal data, and the full records only when you sell.
How it works with ValueDoc
- Share link: you create a link or QR code that expires on its own after 7, 14 or 30 days. Interested buyers see the vehicle, the battery and all entries. Invoices, photos, notes and your email address stay hidden, serial numbers are shortened.
- Handover: when you sell, you create a code. The buyer enters it in their account, and the whole file with all receipts moves to them. That way the vehicle's history isn't lost.
